Arbor Day—which literally translates to “tree” day from the Latin origin of the word arbor—is a holiday that celebrates the planting, upkeep and preservation of trees. For centuries, communities spanning the globe have found various ways to honor nature and the environment. Share the perfect story with to celebrate the holiday by signing up for our Arbor Day Book Giveaway for Kids! Patrons who register will receive a copy of Nell Plants A Tree by Anne Wynter (one copy per family). Registration for this event is required! Ages 12 & under.
