New Year, New Goals: A Vision Board Workshop

- Join us in the Ringering Room on Monday, January 9 @ 3:30pm.

New Year means new goals, right? Get focused on what's new and next in your life by creating your very own Vision Board! Participants who register will have the chance to come in to the Library and put together a Vision Board of their very own. Poster paper, magazines, glue, and scissors will all be provided for you--feel free to bring in magazines from home if you have something specific that inspires you! This event is geared towards Adults and Teens. Registration for this event is required--space is limited. For more information, contact Kaitlyn at (708) 748-3731 ext 31.

Please keep in mind that if you do not register online or speak to an employee to register directly, you are not guaranteed a spot for programs/events.

Registration will open on December 12.

What is a Vision Board?

A vision board is usually a collage of images that represent goals and dreams. It can include cut-out pictures from magazines and words that help inspire you to manifest your dreams and get where you want to go. Vision boards may also help us imagine what a positive future could look like for us. Imagining a positive future is a helpful way to increase positive emotions and optimism, and positive emotions often create opportunities and increase the chances of success. Research suggests that many of the components of vision boarding have potential benefits for our well-being and success!
